2023 Spring Fundraiser
Brian

In our world of cellphones, computers, and digital streaming, it may sometimes seem as though libraries are becoming obsolete.
However, many libraries–including the Carnegie Free Library of Midland–provide services beyond “the usual.”

We still have shelves full of books, of course, from the classics to the latest Best Sellers, but you may not be aware that we also offer free resources such as Ancestry.com, eBooks, Kanopy (an on-demand streaming video platform), weekly children’s programming and a play area which includes LEGOs and building blocks, monthly game nights for adults, a Secondhand Book Nook, a Puzzle Exchange, and so much more.

The library also provides faxing, printing, scanning, and laminating services, as well as computer usage and free WiFi.

This summer we will be hosting Saturday Matinees for children, Movie Nights for adults, a Book & Bake Sale, a Magic Show, and other fun programs.

The Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Free Library of Midland is in the midst of conducting their annual fundraising campaign.  We rely greatly on the generosity of the community to continue operating the library and offering these vital, free services and programming.  Any donation you feel you can afford will be greatly appreciated.

You can donate via the Square app by scanning the QR code below.

We thank you!
