Chicken Dinner & White Elephant Auction, 4/9
The Friends of the Carnegie Free Library of Midland is sponsoring a Chicken Dinner and White Elephant Auction to lead off the library's 100th Anniversary celebration.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 9, at the St. Blaise Lyceum in Midland (located on 8th Street, between Penn & Ohio Avenue).

Doors open at 4:00 p.m., and dinner will be served until 7:00 p.m. The White Elephant Auction will begin immediately after.

The dinner will be catered by the 5th Street Deli, and the menu includes:  three pieces of baked chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans, salad, roll, cake and beverage.  Take-outs are available.

The White Elephant Auction will be a fun, fast-paced auction of pre-wrapped new or like-new items.  Winners may then trade their item prior to opening, if they wish.

Dinner tickets are $12 pre-sale, and $15 the day of the event.
To purchase dinner tickets, visit the library or call Virginia Lopata (President of the Friends of the Carnegie Free Library of Midland) at 724-544-6590.

All proceeds benefit the Carnegie Library of Midland.  Thank you for your support!
